  5. The IKEA dollhouse furniture and dollhouses were made pre 2007. You can see a picture of the Lucite and Lillabo houses here:

All of Modern MC's posts with the IKEA houses, but not too much of the furniture are here:

Also check out this scene Neomi did with painting the IKEA furniture white, pretty awesome:

Every once in awhile I see a house pop up on ebay, but more often see the furniture. There is some up there now:

In terms of the scale, most of it is larger than 1:12 scale, but it still works. The chairs are an okay size, but the table is too big. The bathroom and kitchen pieces are also too big, but if you're not too picky they still work in 1:12 scale.

Personally, I'm a fan of the shelves, they totally work in 1:12, so great find Mandy!!! A little paint goes a long way. (I'm finally catching up, so I'll email you about that swap)

    1. Ha-ha I know what you mean I love the shelves the best to because they can be moved in to 1:12 scale to! I saw the kitchen to but that was just too big! Luckily I had a doll in my bag that day to measure for size! And don’t worry about caching up because I know how you feel! I went on a holiday last week and had to flip back 4 pages to find where I left reading! I guess... Real life and blogging don’t always see eye to eye especially during the holiday’s Just email me when you’ve got the time!
