Undersized Urbanite Dollhouse Contest Part One the Kitchen.

Ok So let’s get started with part one of my entry for the Undersized Urbanite Dollhouse Contest.

Considering I don’t have the budget to make a new doll house.. if decided to change my current one. I’m the kind of person that likes to move around het furniture and change the style of her 1:1 rooms as well. So after looking at this dollhouse for a Year now it’s time to start spring cleaning! Big time! April is the month of cleaning up an looking at thing you want to keep an stuff you want to throw away. Because on the 30^th of April. It’s queens day (as of 2014 kings day, our queen is resigning this year.) And on this day there are market stalls everywhere and people get to sell the old items and make someone else happy with it! Considering the inhibitors of my dollhouse are also Dutch, they are also entering this tradition. And now that they have gotten there beautiful new kitchen in place(made by the very talented Mini Mod Pod incorporated) This is where they start.


First of placing all of the kitchen utensils in the cabinets.

 

Then placing all of the appliances and plug them in to the electricity!

 

 

Placing grandma’s cooking book on the counter.

Making a new place for the dog bowls they also need to eat don’t they?

And now its shopping time. Time for some groceries and some plant’s to bring a bit of life to the room.

 

  

 

Don’t forget to bring the toilet rolls up to the bath room now!

And viola the kitchen is finished and ready for some serous dinner party’s.

 

 

 

But wait someone needs to take out the trash!!

It's here!!!

It’s finally here! My swap with Cyd  from mad for mod and the kitchen she has made form me!
I’m so excited because I wanted to use the kitchen in my entry for the Undersized Urbanite Dollhouse Contest. Considering I just don’t have the money/ the time to make a new dollhouse right now. I wanted to change the look of my current dollhouse! I already started with the bedroom /bathroom.
And now I can get started  on the kitchen area. The kitchen is simply stunning! And it fits perfectly in my house. Of course I didn’t follow the rule to wait and open one package per day I was simply to exited so I open’ t them and here are the pieces individually:

 

 

   She even made sure I got some pottery and pans.

And here it is with the furniture in place! Fits perfectly doesn’t it..?

I’m so great full for this kitchen, so Cyd thank you so much!!
I really hope my package arrives safe and sound with you as well!

Sad goodbye and a question

Oke so I haven’t been on blogger for some time now and mostly that was because I was on our annual winter sport vacation with the fam. it was great fun and I even got to ride y one dog sled! witch was an amazing experience. Unfortunately when we were traveling back home our oldest dog died in the car with us.. she had a weak hart for quite some time now but it’s still a big los.. and I was quite devastated. She was the most easiest dog you could have and I’m glad to say that she got to see a lot of the world considering she always came with us on our holiday’s. She will be missed every single day!

I was hoping I could do a scene with her in it. But she had such a special coat of fur that finding a miniature dog like her is very hard! So I would like to ask you guys to help me!
If you guys find a miniature dog that looks a little bit like her please let me know!

I hope to be inspired to do some miniatures soon. But I can’t make any promises!

Happy valentine’s day everyone!

So Mini*Aesthetics was organizing a challenge:

Design a scene around some holiday or observance in February (Valentine's Day, Wear Red for Women, Chinese New Year)

And here’s what I came up with!

Our lady of the house is being surprised bij her man!

 

When she enters the door there’s a trail of rose leafs and candles that she, according to the note must follow.

 On the end of the trail she finds two roses for her. Two cocktails and a heart made out of rose petals.

 

 

In the sitting area her love put two heart shaped pastries and some hot coffee

 

Isn’t that a sweat gesture who know what ells he might be planning maybe a marriage proposal..? or something else let your imagination run wild what do you think that will happen here tonight?
